Why Delivery Matters

Some PAH treatments require injections, pumps, inhalation devices, or frequent dosing. These approaches can be effective, but they can also add complexity to daily routines. Corsair is evaluating whether a treprostinil prodrug can be delivered through the skin using a passive, needle-free patch designed to be worn once daily.

Finding a New Way to Deliver Treprostinil

Corsair Pharma is developing TRX-248 Transdermal System, an investigational once-daily patch for PAH that is designed to provide steady and continuous treprostinil exposure. Early clinical experience is helping Corsair better understand how the patch performs and is supporting continued advancement of the program.

The TRX-248 Transdermal System is in clinical development and has not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any other regulatory authority. Safety and efficacy have not been established, and Corsair is not enrolling patients in clinical trials at this time. Patients should speak with their healthcare provider about PAH and available treatment options.
